We have received a message from ITV who are looking for brides and grooms as follows "We are currently casting for the third series of the ever popular show “Four Weddings” on Living TV. We are looking for weddings or civil partnerships taking place between June and December 2010. I was very much hoping that you might be able to assist us in spreading the word to any brides/grooms who might be getting married within our filming period." All Event Organisers We will be sending out a mail shot to you in the next few days requesting your permission for us to pass on your details when we get contacted by people who want to exhibit at fayres in your area. We have never asked for permission to pass on your email addresses but we get a number of requests a week from businesses who would like to exhibit at wedding fayres. We will be providing a like for you to confirm whether you are willing to allow us to pass on your details to prospective exhibitors and also to confirm the areas of the uk you cover. over 6000 unique visitors a month Just a quick note and thank you to all the event organisers for sending the details of their fayres, for the second month in a row we have exceeded 6000 unique visitors a month - thats over 8000 visitors a month in total and we are still mostly getting UK visitors. Cutting down the text for fayre details We are planning to cut down the text that we show on the summary screen for fayres in the near future - at the moment some fayre listing pages are showing so many events that we need to cut down to just the first 20 or so words with a link to the full details and maps / exhibitors. In some cases that will still show all the details we currently have for an event it's just a way for us to show more events on a page and the full details will still be available from the fayre details page. Feel free to contact us if this raises any concerns for you - but otherwise we will have to implment a paging system for some very counties where we have a lot of exhibitions.

More events being added Still having regular submissions at the moment, we have updated our sitemaps for google but plan to hold off the next cycle until the 28th April. We need to update on Mondays rather than Sundays since that's the day that most events expire and move to the reviews part of the site.

Autumn fayres now being added Hi All, People have now started adding the Autunm fayres to the site so you should be able to find more fayres in your area, very busy time for all the organisers, just finished one round and now the cycle starts again. Next planned submission to google is now next Sunday 5th April as we are still catching up on all the submissions for the last two weekds

Sorry for the missing maps on the fayre details pages Bit of an oversight when redoing the styles for the website, removed the facility to actually see the maps generated for every event. This has now been resolved so you should be able to see maps of the events again now. The enhanced advert for county sponsors is also now showing on the county page as well as the fayre details pages.

Site makeover Cleaned up some of the issues with the site styles so it's now a lot easier to read. It's taken a while to get round to this because we've been concentrating more on getting the data content up to date and providing full functionality so it was seriously overdue. Hope you all like the new cleaner look, if you have any comments on the layout don't hesitate to contact us. County sponsors - we've revamped the look of your adverts to make them more prominent - hopefully you should see an increase in traffic through these changes
