Set in gently rolling countryside and once forming part of the forest of Waltham, Maylands Golf & Country Club is one of the country's most picturesque venues, the woodland lining the fairways, deer are often seen roaming amongst a
tree-line enriched with white poplars.
A beautifully converted 18th century barn, built over 200 years ago, the magnificent clubhouse retains many of its fine features, the superb surroundings, both inside and out, offer numerous locations for your wedding photography.
Small parties of 25 to larger groups of 150 can be catered for. Our chef will help you decide on various menu options and advise on any special dietary requirements you or your guests may have.

Standing within 22 acres of landscaped grounds Mulberry House is also known for its tranquility and relaxed atmosphere, together with its facilities that create an ideal environment.
Mulberry House was built in 1767 as a home for the local Squire. It took ten years to build and stands in 22 acres of landscaped grounds, which are enhanced by the lake, the only remaining part of an original Tudor moat. In 1788 the squire became the Rector of St Mary the Virgin in the village of High Ongar and the house was to remain the church rectory for almost 200 years.
